TTP AG completes acquisition of PHARMAPLAN
Full-service engineering provider for the process industry aims for leading position in Europe by 2024
TTP AG, Frankfurt am Main, has successfully completed the acquisition of four companies from the Danish company NNE A/S. The engineering companies based in Belgium, Germany, France and Switzerland will regain their traditional brand name PHARMAPLAN and will operate independently on the market as a specialized, strategic engineering partner to the pharmaceutical industry. Together with its German sister company TRIPLAN AG, which is primarily active in the chemicals and petrochemicals segment, a major production-related engineering solution provider for the process industry will be formed under the umbrella of TTP AG.
“PHARMAPLAN and TRIPLAN complement each other perfectly,” emphasizes Joachim Grendel, CEO of TTP AG. “Together they cover the entire engineering value chain along all customer requirements up to major EPCMV projects in the European core markets of the pharmaceutical, chemical and petrochemical industries.”
The agile and motivated teams are also a perfect cultural fit. Andreas Bonhoff, CEO of TRIPLAN AG: “Both brands are also firmly anchored on the customer side due to their high local presence. We will continue the success story of the two brands TRIPLAN and PHARMAPLAN together and further increase the economic strength of the entire group in the interests of all stakeholders.” This also includes positioning the company as an attractive employer for motivated engineers.
The transformation of PHARMAPLAN into the TTP Group will be steered by a newly formed management team under the leadership of Joachim Grendel and Andreas Bonhoff. “We are delighted that we can continue to build on the expertise of these experienced managers in the future,” comments Joachim Grendel. TTP also stands for continuity in the project business. Clients will retain their tried-and-tested teams and contacts.
